Besides all the big battle scenes and historical set-pieces of life in the 4^th Century – including the building of the City of Constantinople as the “New Rome”  -- the scenes of intelligent and illuminating religious debate at the first ecumenical Council of Nicaea have the potential to be as dramatic as, and contain dramatic prose worthy of, previous crowd-pleasing Oscar-winning historical epics like:  Becket,  A Man For All Seasons and Lion In Winter.
